LOTO Nylon Safety Padlock — 38mm Red
The most widely used LOTO padlock in our catalogue and the right choice for many of all lockout applications. This nylon safety padlock is fully insulated, making it suitable for electrical Lock Out. You get a striking red colour for maximum visibility and a unique 6-pin key system so that only you can remove the lock.
To place an installation in LOTO you need a LOTO safety padlock. For this we offer safety padlocks in two colours (red and yellow, and on customer request in other colours as well) and in two size versions. The most widely used LOTO padlock is the one on this page.

Frequently asked questions about this product
Does this lock fit a standard lockout hasp?
Yes, the 38mm shackle fits all regular LOTO lockout hasps, including the 6-lock model from our catalogue. The 6mm shackle diameter matches the standard opening diameter of virtually all hasps on the Dutch market.
Do I get a unique key or are all locks keyed alike?
By default, each lock is supplied with unique keys (Key Different) — essential for LOTO, because only the technician who fitted the lock may remove it. For a Key Alike configuration (all locks on the same key) or master key systems you can request a quote.
Why should I choose red and not another colour?
Red is by far the most widely used LOTO colour and has the clearest 'danger / do not operate' association. Many companies use colours to distinguish between disciplines (red for electrical, yellow for mechanical) or shifts. Also take a look at the yellow variant.
