Universal Lockout/Tagout Box — LOTO Lockbox for projects
A lockbox (also called a group lock box) is used in LOTO when several people work on the same installation at the same time and you do not want every isolation point to be locked individually by everyone.
Here is how it works, in brief:
The responsible person safely de-energizes the installation and places a lock on every isolation point (switches, valves, fuses). They then put the keys of all those locks into the lockbox and close it. Each technician then hangs their own personal lock on the lockbox itself (often via a hasp).
The principle: as long as even one personal lock remains on the lockbox, the box cannot be opened, the keys cannot be removed, and the installation therefore stays locked out. Only when everyone has finished and removed their own lock can the last person open the box and release the installation again.

For how many technicians is this lockbox?
The lockbox has room for several LOTO padlocks on the lid — enough for group lockout with 4-8 technicians. For large maintenance shutdowns with 10+ technicians, opt for multiple lockboxes in cascade, or for dedicated group lockout systems. Request a quote for project situations.
Can I mount the box on the wall?
Yes, the box has mounting holes for wall fixing — handy for departments that want to use the lockbox as fixed central safety storage. For mobile applications (for example on site during project work) you can use it loose; the ergonomic handle makes transport easy.
How do you use a lockbox in practice?
For group work: the lead technician locks out the installation with a single master lock and puts the key in the lockbox. Each technician then places their personal LOTO padlock on the lockbox lid.
